Stainless steel pump suction spool: Stainless steel is currently one of the most widely used for submersible pump materials in the market. Stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and strength, light weight, fast heat dissipation, and can operate stably for a long time in harsh water environments. Baoding Guokun can use stainless steel 304, 316, CF8, CF8M and other stainless-steel grades to produce the submersible pump components, which suitable for water treatment in various fields such as households, agriculture and ships. The stainless-steel pump parts are produced by using silica sol investment casting process, which has tight casting tolerance, smooth casting surfaces.

Cast Iron pump suction spool: Cast iron are also widely used in various pumps for industrial and civilian fields. Cast iron has excellent mechanical properties and can meet the requirements of long-term operation of submersible pumps. Baoding Guokun can use ductile cast iron ASTM A536 and gray cast iron ASTM A48 for submersible pump replacement parts, which have the advantage of low cost and are suitable for some pumps with limited economic conditions. We can choose the clay sand casting, resin sand casting, shell mold casting process to produce various pump components as per customer’s drawings or requirements.

Aluminum alloy pump suction spool: Electric submersible pump is an important pump widely used in various water environments. In order to assure the extended the pump’s service life and improved the performance, Baoding Guokun will choose aluminum alloys to manufacture the important pump parts, such as the submersible pump motor housing. The aluminum alloy ASTM A356 T6 electrical submersible pump motor casing has good corrosion resistance, strength and lightweight, which helps to improve the overall performance and service life of electrical submersible pumps.

The process of Baoding Guokun sand casting involves several steps after producing a professional tool or mold, including:

1	Pattern Creation	A two-piece metal pattern is created in the shape of the desired part, typically from iron, aluminum or wooden material.For a single casting or small batches of castings, we prefer to produce to use the wooden material to manufacture the mold to save money for customers.For other sand casting parts in large quantity, we prefer to use aluminum or iron to improve the mold’s service life.
2	Mold creation	The two shell halves are joined together and securely clamped to form the complete shell mold. If any cores are required, they are inserted prior to closing the mold. The shell mold is then placed into a flask and supported by a backing material.
3	Pouring	The mold is securely clamped together while the molten metal is poured from a ladle into the gating system and fills the mold cavity.
4	Cooling	After the mold has been filled, the molten metal is allowed to cool and solidify into the shape of the final castings.
5	Casting removal	After the molten metal has cooled, the mold can be broken and the casting removed. Trimming and cleaning processes are required to remove any excess metal from the feed system and any sand from the mold
6	Machining	Machining as per drawings
